Our recent Technology Showcase event, held at our headquarters on October 17th, 2024, was a great success. Hundreds of attendees and more than 40 technology partners participated in this signature event, bringing together our clients and manufacturing partners in the spirit of celebrating our cherished partnerships.
This annual event is great for networking, meeting with representatives of the Visual Sound team, socializing with company and industry peers, talking with manufacturers reps, and just simply enjoying the company of other AV professionals. This year, the Visual Sound team outdid themselves, planning a highly unique event that appealed to a wide variety of industries, companies, and roles, while surprising and delighting them at every turn.
“We truly value the relationships that we build with both our clients and vendor partnerships. This event is a unique opportunity for clients to see behind the scenes and learn more about the integrated AV technology and components that go into a customer project,” stated Karen Bogosian, President and CEO of Visual Sound. “The day is our way of thanking everyone personally for being an invaluable part of our business,” mentioned Bogosian.
A truly inspiring and experiential AV event.
Free to attendees, the day was packed with an abundance of unique information and experiences for everyone to learn from and enjoy. With AV experiences, vendor booths, and informational sessions located throughout the building and our Customer Innovation Center, there really was something for everyone and every industry, including corporations, higher education, K-12 schools, utilities, government, healthcare, houses of worship, and more.
Each year we refine the event, using feedback from attendees and vendor partners to make future open house events even better.

Based on the success of last year’s experiences, we added new experiential rooms and areas where technology was brought to life. Attendees could truly surround and immerse their senses in the technology and included:
- Audio/Large Venue Demo – Hearing the power of crystal-clear audio, brought to life.
- Projection Demo – Viewing the latest improvements in high-quality projectors and projection technology.
- Video Wall Experience – Showcasing the latest wall-mounted and portable video wall solutions for spaces like lobbies, classrooms, conference rooms, and control center environments.
- Conferencing/Video Bar Demo – Experiencing how the latest AV and Unified Communications and Collaboration (UCC) technology can transform meetings and video conferences into seamless collaborative experiences.
- Production Studio – Learning how to set up a studio, including broadcast and auto tracking cameras.
- Immersive Reality Room – Enhancing learning experiences via a 360° interactive room for education, healthcare, and other real-world applications.
- Digital Signage Truck – Seeing cutting edge indoor and outdoor video walls, digital signage, and scoreboard displays for applications including, lobbies, stadiums, auditoriums, lecture halls, large venues, and more.
Vendor technology exhibits showcased the latest innovations.
Over 40 vendors, representing all areas of the audio visual industry, participated by showcasing and demonstrating their latest products, while answering questions personally. This exclusive opportunity allows participants to gain insight into the latest innovations and enhance the organization’s future AV planning.
In addition to experiences and vendor booths, visitors participated in engaging breakout sessions and panels, led by AV thought leaders, learning about the latest trends and innovations influencing the future of AV in control room environments, higher education, K-12 schools, the corporate workplace, and more.

Finally, everyone was treated to a catered lunch buffet, raffled gifts throughout the day, discounted clearance products, a photo studio with professional headshots, and a meet and greet with two-time Stanley Cup Philadelphia Flyers champion, Joe Watson. Joe was on hand to mingle with visitors and to personalize and hand-sign copies of his new book, Thundermouth, compliments of Visual Sound.
Many came for the experience and stayed for the social, attending our Networking/Social Happy Hour where valuable prizes were raffled off. No attendee left empty handed! Each receiving a special and useful attendee gift item.
